FAQs

  • Orders can be sent to sales@laroseguyon.com. Please include the fixture of interest, the finish and overall height if known as well as the bill to and ship to information. Orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit. Once we will receive the deposit, we will start the production (6 – 20 weeks depending on the model). The finished fixtures will be shipped when we will receive the final payment.

  • As an effort to support local artisans and Canadian manufacturers, all of our products are hand assembled in our Verchères (Qc) Studio with the help of many Canadians artisans. Learn more about our process here.

  • We offer a 15% trade discount. For orders over $50,000, this increases to 20%, and over $100,000, it increases to 25%.

  • We designed each one of our fixtures to be easily installed and properly packed. Full installation instructions are provided in the box with each product. We recommend that the lighting fixtures be installed by a professional electrician. We are not, in any way, responsible or liable under any circumstances for misfortunes and/or accidents that may occur due to improper use and/or installation of our products.

  • ALL MODELS (exept for the PERLE collection):
    Our integrated LEDs are dim-to-warm with a color temperature going from 2700k to 2200k once it is dimmed. We can change the color temperature upon request.

    PERLE COLLECTION:
    The color temperature of the LED G9 light bulb of the Perle collection is 2700k. We can change the color temperature upon request.

  • The light bulbs for the PERLE collection are Bulbrite LED G9 2700k 5W. You can find a retailer here or find an equivalent in any hardware store.

    The integrated LEDs in all of our other models should last at least 50 000h. If you ever need to purchase new LED sources, please contact us at sales@laroseguyon.com.

  • For all of our models (exept for the PERLE collection), the constant current driver is hidden in the canopy and can not be placed remotely. You can find the wattage of each driver on the spec sheet of each model.

    Here is a list of compatible dimmer that works with the drivers. We are not responsible if a damage on a fixture occurs by using an other dimmer switch.

  • Before placing an order, make sure to specify the exact overall height needed for your space. We do not recommand to adjust our fixtures on site to avoid any damages or unwanted aesthetic changes during the adjustement. The warranty might not be valid anymore if some alterations have been made to our products. However, here is a list of what can be done on site for every models.

    ABYSSE-03 / 05 / 08
    The Abysse-03, 05 and 08 can be slightly adjusted on site. However, we do not recommend to adjust it as it can change the overall look of the fixture.

    COCO-01 / 02 / 03 / 04
    The coco collection can not be adjusted on site as all of the structural wires have been weight tested due to the weight of the fixture.

    CÉLESTE / OTÉRO / LIANE
    The Céleste Small and Large, The Otéro Small and Large and the Liane can not be adjusted on site. However, you can order different sizes of metal stem if you would like a few height option on site. We can also join together several metal stem to acheive a lenght higher than 36’’.

    PERLE 1 / PERLE 1-TRIO
    The Perle 1 can be adjusted on site. However, it does not offer much flexibility on-site, since the distance between the two ceiling attachments will automaticaly change if the fixture is higher or lower due to the angle.

    PERLE 2 / PERLE 3
    The Perle 2 and Perle 3 can be adjusted on site.

    Our team is always available to help you figure out the perfect height and configuration for your order. We can also provide drawings to visualize any options wanted.

  • All of our products are in solid brass or are plated by dedicated artisans conscientious and knowledgeable in its craft.  Copper, brass and bronze has a natural reaction of oxidizing when exposed to air giving it character and depth.  Our products may develop a patina over time which is the natural and intentional process of our handmade products, not a manufacturing defect.  We have applied a protective coat to our products to slow the oxidizing process.  Should you remove the protective coat, we cannot be held responsible for the increase in copper oxidation. Do not try to take off the oxidation on the copper.

  • While every effort has been made to show items accurately, slight variations may occur. All measurements quoted are approximate and color’s reproduction is as accurate as photographic processes or a printed material allow. Please, note there may be color variations depending on the calibration and screen’s setting. As every of our product is hand-crafted, the possibility of slight variations in assembly and finishes may exist from one piece to another.  The latter does in no way affect the quality, craftsmanship, aesthetic or function of the piece.

  • Before cleaning our light fixtures, make sure it is cool to the touch. We recommend that the products be gently cleaned with a damp cloth or a microfiber cloth. We are not responsible for damage caused by improper cleaning, the use of cleaning products or by improper use.

  • All of our fixtures are for indoor use only and must be installed in a dry or damp location.

  • The size of our gallery/workshop does not allow us to stock your lighting fixture once your order is completed. In the eventuality that we do not receive the final payment, or we cannot proceed to ship the order two (2) weeks following its completion date, an additional fee of $125 USD per week will be charged.

  • As every of our product is hand-crafted, we are not able to accept any returns.

  • Please examine the condition of the boxes before signing delivery receipts: our products are thoroughly inspected and carefully packed before leaving our facility. Should you receive products in a damaged condition apparent or concealed, claims for damage must be made against the carrier immediately. Keep all packaging materials.

    Should visual inspection upon the receipt of shipment show damage, it must be noted on the delivery receipt and signed by both you and the driver. Failure to do so will result in the carrier refusing to honor your claim. Retain all packing materials and notify carrier immediately that you wish an inspection report made, so you can proceed to make a claim against carrier.

    All claims for any damages not apparent until the product is unpacked, must be made in writing via email to info@laroseguyon.com, accompanied by photographs of such damages, within seven (7) days after Buyer’s receipt or warehouse’s receipt of the Products and all claims for workmanship defects, shortages and errors must be made within sixty (60) days. Failure to make a claim within this period of time constitutes acceptance of the Products and a waiver of claims.

    We carefully inspect all of our products for any manufacturing defects or errors. Before to ship any of our products, we will send you a PDF with photos of your specific order to demonstrate the conformity of the fixture.

  • All of the products are shipped via Fedex Express, UPS or Purolator. The shipping fees are included anywhere in Canada and USA. The delivery lead time is approximatly 2-7 working days for Canada and USA. We are not responsable for any delays that might occur. Customs fees and taxes are included in the shipping fees for delivery in the USA.
